Mahj. Daily

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Mahj Daily ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our iOS application ("the App"). We've kept this short and plain because privacy matters and legalese helps no one.

The short version

Mahj Daily does not collect personal information about you. There are no accounts, and we never ask for your name, email address, or anything else that identifies you. The game itself runs entirely on your device. Two services, described below, receive anonymous information so that subscriptions work and so we can see how the App is used. We do not sell your data, we do not advertise in the App, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

What stays on your device

The following information is stored locally on your device only, using iOS's standard storage mechanisms:

This information never leaves your device. If you delete the App, this information is deleted with it.

Subscriptions and analytics

Mahj Daily uses two services to run Premium and to understand how the app is used.

RevenueCat processes subscriptions. It receives which subscription you purchased and when, along with a random ID that identifies your install. It never receives your name, email, or Apple ID.

PostHog (hosted in the United States) receives anonymous product analytics: a small number of events such as when the Premium screen is shown or a trial starts, plus your device model, iOS version, app version, language, and time zone. These are tied to a random ID, not to you.

There are no accounts, no names, no email addresses, no advertising, no tracking across other apps or websites, and no location lookup. Your game history, stats, achievements, and settings stay on your device and are not uploaded.

Payment and Apple

Payment for a subscription is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and is governed by Apple's privacy practices. We never see your payment information. The App may also use Apple's standard, opt-in analytics and crash reporting tools, which you control in your iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements. If you have enabled these, Apple may share anonymized diagnostic data with us to help us fix bugs. That data is not personally identifiable.

Children's privacy

Mahj Daily is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy in the future, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via the email address you used to contact us, if applicable.
